Metrocare Services Mobile Crisis
For adults needing immediate care, Metrocare offers extended hours at the Westmoreland Clinic until 10PM. Individuals can call to schedule or present to the clinic for services. Monday to Friday: 8AM - 10PM
Metrocare Services Peer Support Line
For non-emergency emotional support from someone with lived recovery experiences. Seek help before the crisis and talk to someone who has been there. Monday to Friday: 7AM - 12AM
Metrocrest Services
Depending on the circumstances can provide help for families, seniors, and individuals in paying their rent/mortgage and water or energy bills.. Provides services to residents in Addison, Carrollton, Coppell, Farmers Branch, and the City of Dallas in Denton County (75287) .
Miracle Messages
Miracle Messages helps people experiencing homelessness rebuild social support systems and financial security, primarily through family reunifications, a phone buddy program, and basic income pilots.
Mosaic Family Services
Mosaic House is a safe shelter for immigrant women and children who have survived domestic violence and/or human trafficking. Additional services provided to their shelter individuals include Comprehensive case management, Legal services, Immigration assistance, Interpretation and translation, Medical care, Counseling, and Educational opportunities.
National Domestic Violence Hotline
24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, the National Domestic Violence Hotline provides essential tools and support to help survivors of domestic violence so they can live their lives free of abuse. Contacts to The Hotline can expect highly-trained, expert advocates to offer free, confidential, and compassionate support, crisis intervention information, education, and referral services in over 200 languages.
Newcomers Mental Wellness Guidebook
This Newcomers Mental Wellness Guidebook aims to expand awareness of local mental health and behavioral health resources that provide culturally responsive services and is tailored to meet the needs of newcomers. This includes offering services in languages other than English as well as making accommodations for individuals who are low-income and/or do not have health insurance.
North Texas Food Bank
The North Texas Food Bank is a nonprofit hunger relief organization that distributes dontated and purchased foods through a network of nearly 500 partner agencies and organizations in 12 counties.
Northeast Community Court
The focus of the Community Court is to rehabilitate the individual and restore the community. The Social Services & Community Services programs provide rehabilitative and educational programs to prevent future quality-of-life crimes; Community Services, in lieu of paying fines and court costs, individuals are ordered to perform community service within the community service within the Community Court's jurisdiction; and Restitution.
Northwest Community Center
Northwest Community Center in Vickery Meadow exists to aid refugees to start a new life, empower refugees to thrive in a new culture, and invite refugees to experience new life. Services include English Classes, Job Readiness Training & Job Board, Civic Class, Notary Services, Computer Training, After School, Youth Tutoring, Resource Distribution, and Refugee Churches.

Emergency aid center: food and financial assistance for rent, utilities, glasses, prescriptions, IDs and driver's licenses, bus tokens and gas vouchers, and school supplies. Employment assistance and ESL classes. Friday food basket for older adults (60+). Referrals to community resources, Medical clinic, clothes closet, and thrift store.
One Fair Wage
Providing cash assistance to restaurant workers, car service drivers, delivery workers, personal service workers and more who need the money they aren't getting to survive.
Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas
Health services include but are not limited to: birth control, pregnancy options, pregnancy testing, STI testing, pelvic exams, HIV testing, cancer screenings, pap test, and more.
Prims Health North Texas Dental Care - East Dallas
Dental care for low-income children ages 0-18. English/Spanish languages are available.
Prism Health North Texas Dental Care - Vickery Meadow
Providing routine and preventative dental care and dental health education to low-income individuals in Texas.
Promise House
Promise House offers a variety of programs, all with the goal to end youth homelessness. We have both short-term and long-term residential services for youth experiencing homelessness. Additional services include Outreach and Counseling services.
Recovery Resource Council
Prompting wellness and recovery from disorders relating to alcohol, substance use, trauma, and mental health. The target population includes veterans and their family members, chronic homeless adults with co-occurring disorders, at-risk youth struggling with the impact of adverse childhood experiences, and adults struggling with addictions, trauma, and mental health disorders.
Reliant
Reliant provides financial assistance to individuals facing hardship to help pay their electricity bill through their CARE program.
Resource Center
Dedicated to empowering the LGBTQIA+ community and all people living with HIV/AIDS. Services: PrEP/PEP Prescriptions, Primary Health Care, Mental Health Care, Gender-Affirming Care, HIV Support, & HIV Testing.
Ride United
Ride United leverages the strength of United Ways, the 211 Network, and partners to address the unmet transportation needs of individuals and families across the country. Ride United includes two programs: Transportation Access, which reduces transportation barriers to essential jobs, services, and more, and Last Mile Delivery, which focuses on getting food and essential items to those in need.
STAR Transit
STAR Transit offers bus transportation. Destinations could include job locations, educational facilities, non-emergency medical appointments, senior centers, errands, visiting friends, and career-training facilities.
STREETZine
STREETZine is an enrichment program of the Stewpot. A monthly newspaper published by The Stewpot, a ministry of the First Presbyterian Church of Dallas. The monthly publication offers financial opportunity for Stewpot clients who sell the paper to Dallas residents. Vendors are able to move towards exonimc self-sufficency by using the money they receive from selling copies to purchase bus passes, food, and necessary living expenses. Clients also receive stipends for contributing articles.
Safe Kids Dallas Area Coalition
Based on the needs of the community, this coalition implements evidence-based programs such as car-seat checkups, safety workshops, and sports clinics, that help parents and caregivers prevent childhood injuries.
Saint Vincent De Paul
Saint Vincent DePaul can provide financial assistance for: rent, utilities, food, prescription medication, or other immediate need. Helpline is answered live, Monday to Friday, 9AM - 4PM
Sharing Life Outreach
Sharing Life Outreach's provides: Emergency Financial Assistance for late electric, gas, water, mortgage, or rent payments. Non-food essentials for clothing, medical equipment, cleaning supplies, and hygiene products. Food Pantry provides each family with 2 weeks worth of groceries. Financial Empowerment classes such as Financial Coaching, GED Testing Center & Employment Services.
South Dallas Community Court
Their innovative approach merges local strength with the legal system to address challenges and drive positive community transformation. At Community Courts, we assist individuals 18 years or older with City of Dallas quality-of-life Class C misdemeanors by providing wrap-around services to systematically address and remove barriers for successful community reintegration and restoration of our vibrant community. We have five community courts throughout Dallas, including specialized treatment courts for veterans and individuals facing substance abuse challenges. These courts exemplify our dedication to providing tailored support and interventions while addressing the unique needs of our diverse community.
St. Vincent de Paul of North Texas
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a volunteer organization that offers direct aid to those in need across nine counties in North Texas. Programs include Pharmacy, Mini Loan, After School, Thrift Store, and Community Resource Center.
Texas Child Care Solutions
TWC Child Care Services program provides financial aid for families who meet income requirements, promoting long-term self-sufficiency by enabling parents to work or attend workforce training or education activities.
Texas Department of Health Medical Transportation Program
Non-emergency medical transportation services are available for a Medicaid beneficiary or their child. These services include rides to a doctor's office, dentist's office, hospital, drug store or any place that provides covered health care services.
Texas Tenants Union
A non-profit organization that empowers tenants through education and organizing to protec their rights, preserve their homes, improve their living conditions, and enhance the quality of life int heir communities.
Texas Workforce Commission
A state agency charged with overseeing and providing workforce development services to employers and job seekers of Texas. Services include Unemployment Benefits, Housing & Workplace Discrimination, Veteran Services, Vocational Rehabilitation, Community Outreach, Apprenticeship, Child Care and Early Learning.
The MINT Foundation
Provide rental and utility assistance for households with unexpected financial emergencies.

The North Texas Behavioral Health Authority
Connect with a mental health or substance use provider. Services includes Crisis Services, Mental Health/Substance Use, Suicide Prevention.
The Senior Source
The Senior Source serves all older adults with services such as: Financial Assistance (Utility Assistance, Benefits Assistance: Medicare Counseling, & Guardianship), Frauds & Scams Help, Employment Services, Family Caregiver Support, Nursing Home/Assisted Living Resources, and Senior Volunteer Programs.
The Stewpot of First Presbyterian Church
The Stewpot provides services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness, as well as to housed children, families, and adults who are low-and extremely-low income. All services, except Meal Services, can be accessed at The Bridge Homeless Recovery Center.
The United Way of Metropolitan Dallas Rental Assistance Collaborative
United Way can connect individuals to the community resources through their programs or partner organizations. Services and resources including: Child Development, Education Resources, Financial Resources, Health Insurance, Job Trianing, Pregnancy/Parenting Support, & Rental Assistance.
The Wilkinson Center
Wilkinson Center provides Food Assistance, Pantry2Go (mobile food truck), Senior's Program, & Benefits Screening & Referrals. Senior's Program available to older adults ages 60 and over. There are no zip code restrictions and open to Dallas County residents.
Thrive Women's Clinic
All services are no charge with no insurance required. Free pregnancy test and ultrasound, medical, consultation/pre-abortion education, pregnancy options education, community resources & referrals, counseling & mentoring

All-inclusive programs and wraparound services are designed to help individuals and families transition from crisis to stability.
Tree of Life Family Services
Tree of Life Family Services provides low-cost immigration consultation and legal assistance to immigrant, refugee, asylum communities and newly arrived immigrants. Program provides: Immigration consultation. Legal assistance: family-based petitions, adjustments of status, refugee and asylum cases, renewals of I-765 Work Authorization permit, I-90 Renewal of I-551 Card, Citizenship thru Naturalization, U-Visa, and VAWA (Violence against Women Act) cases.
U.S. Social Security Administration
Social security employees assist with requests for social security for aged and disabled, Medicare cards, and filing for Supplemental Security Income.

Food Pantry: No appointment is needed; visit once a week. Wednesdays - 1PM - 4PM; Thursdays - 10AM - 1PM; Saturdays - 9AM - 12PM Clothes Closet: Open to residents within the following zip codes: 75231, 75230, 75243, and 75238. All items are free; can shop once every three months.
Vickery Meadow Youth Development Foundation
Working to provide opportunities for children and youth in Vickery Meadow to reach their greatest potential. Programs include Eagle Scholars, Bookapoolooza, Mom's groups, and scholarships.
Voice of Hope
Provides services to families living in West Dallas such as Emergency Food Pantry, Adult Bible studies, Community Crime Watch, home visits (help families lacking in transportation or who are in need in their homes), & Community based events.
WIC - Women, Infants and Children
Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for pregnant, breastfeeding women and families with children younger than 5. Services inlude monthly food packages, breastfeeding support, nutrition classes, one-on-one counseling with nutritionists and more.
West Dallas Community Court
